Learn how create artwork using a method called drypoint etching and get to grips with a traditional printing press in this experience run at Creative Space on the High St in Staple Hill.
In drypoint etching, a design is drawn or scratched on a plate with a sharp needle-like instrument, inked up by hand and then run through a printing press- making each print truly one-of-a-kind.
In this workshop you will:
Discover what etching is and how to do it!
Use etching tools and a printing press
Explore your creativity with a little professional help
Take home two original prints of your completed artwork- with a smile
All materials, in addition to tea and coffee, will be provided for your evening of crafting to be complete.
