Holiday Art Club for Kids

If your child enjoys painting, drawing, crafting and generally getting creative, these sessions will be right up their street! Each day, Kate will lead a four-hour workshop for a small group of children, with carefully planned activities that have a flexible outcome to suit all abilities. 

Tuesday 28th October 9:30-13:30

- Clay construction for 6-12 years

Learn slabbing, joining and decorative effects to create at least two different clay pieces in this explorative and fun clay workshop.

Wednesday 29th October 9:30-13:30

- Linoprinting! for 8-13 years

An opportunity to use proper printmaking tools and materials to design, carve, ink and print colourful linoprints. The children will be using sharp blades so require good hand control for this activity.  Everyone welcome to bring their own inspiration for their design or use prepared design examples. 

Art Club Overview 

Kate is an artist and highly experienced teacher who loves sharing her passion and skills with others. She runs regular art groups for children and adults across Bristol. Whether your child comes along to one or many of these sessions, your child will build on their artistic skills, learn something new, and create within an encouraging group.

Please note: 
-These sessions are held at The Sundial Kitchen in Totterdown BS3 4TU. 
-There will be a snack provided mid-morning and there will also be a break for lunch at about 12 o'clock 
-Please provide your child with a packed lunch. Water will be available all day.
-It is always best if your child wears clothes they feel comfortable getting messy in.
-All art materials will be provided.
