Regular Art sessions 1:1 or small group for children

I offer regular 1:1 / small group Art classes for children where we:

• explore a range of resources and equipment in a dedicated creative space
• try out different methods, approaches and activities 
  
• get stuck in to the process as well as enjoy the outcome 
• enjoy a calm, connected couple of hours 

The sessions can vary in their focus from week to week eg drawing, printmaking, sculptural work, collage. Or can focus on one discipline for a period of time for a more in depth exploration. 

Weekday mornings. Suggested length: 2 hrs

Kate is an artist and highly experienced teacher who loves sharing her passion and skills with others. She has run Art classes and workshops for adults and children alike for many years, planned Art curriculums, trained teachers in Art and supported teaching and learning in schools in London, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Also qualified as a Video Interaction Guidance (VIG) practitioner - a therapeutic approach to promote positive communication and relationships- Kate has supported children and families within various settings to understand each other and boost emotional sensitivity. Providing a safe space where each individual feels at ease and able to express themselves is a key component of Kate's sessions.

Please note: 
-These sessions are held at Kate's little home studio space, or in the garden if weather permits 179 Bloomfield Rd, Brislington, BS4 3QS
-All art materials and equipment will be provided.
